OUR HISTORY

The O.K. Program was established in 1990 at Mills Middle School in Rancho Cordova, California.

The program was designed to reverse the grim statistics that young African American males were facing…namely, the high rates of incarceration and homicide.

Since 1990, the O.K. Program has won many awards including several national awards.

In 1992, President George Bush recognized the O.K. Program as the 945th Daily Point of Light for the Nation.
